DESCRIPTION (field, expectations, comments):
The Candidate should have requirements:
1) doctor’s degree in library and information science or in social communication or in media science or in computer science
2) academic achievements including publications (books monographs, textbooks, lecture notes) and articles as well as active participation in scientific conferences.
Duties of the Candidate:
3) experience in conducting classes with students,
4) knowledge of modern methods of teaching at the higher level,
5) readiness to initiate and direct research projects,
6) competence to teach subjects in the fields of Information in the digital environment and Informatology with business English, related to information and media management, marketing and management of the institution and the human team,
7) ability to work in a team.
Additional advantages include:
8) English language fluency.
Persons entering the competition must submit an application for employment addressed to the HM Rector of the University of Lodz, together with the following attachments:
• personal questionnaire,
• CV with full list of scientific achievements (publications, participation in scientific conferences, internships etc.),
• copy of the doctoral diploma or decision of the commission to accept the public defense of the doctorate,
• statement that the University of Lodz will be the main place of employment.

University of Lodz will not cover costs of accommodation and travel.
Employment is planned from March 2024.
