The candidate should have:
Requirements:
- doctoral degree in the discipline of cultural and religious sciences or art sciences from a Polish university;
- specialize and have a scientific output in the field of theatre studies, contemporary art studies;
- have scientific experience confirmed by publications in punctuated scientific journals and participation in conferences;
- have experience in teaching in the field of history of theatre and drama, contemporary theatre and drama, performance studies, musical theatre (minimum 1 year);
- have general knowledge of conducting scientific research;
- be fluent in spoken and written Polish;

Duties of the Candidate :
1. in the area of research work - active participation in scientific conferences and systematic publication of author's monographs and scientific articles in publications and scientific journals included in the updated list of scientific journals and publishing houses of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education,
2. in the area of didactic work - teaching classes in the field of theatre production and production management (e.g. practical workshops, seminars on contemporary theatre and drama, undergraduate seminars),
3. in terms of organisational work - active involvement in organisational activities for the department, institute and faculty,
4. presence for three working days in Lodz.

Additional advantages include:
- experience of working in a theatre, theatre company or in other artistic organisation,
- descriptions of two lectures/worshops or seminar offered to students of theatre production and performance organisation.
