DESCRIPTION (subject, expectations, comments):

The Candidates for the position of an assistant professor in the Department Ethics should meet the following criteria:

1. PhD in philosophy.

2. Scientific achievements in the field of medieval philosophy and anthropology, especially in scientific magazines scored from the list of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education.

3. Due to the research profile of the Department, candidates are sought who specialize in anthropology and its history, so that the candidate could conduct didactic classes on topics related to history of anthropology, ethics and social philosophy (especially pre-modern ethics, anthropology and social thought).

4. It is desirable that she/he possesses: free command of spoken and written English so that the future assistant professor can publish her/his articles in English-language scientific magazines, present papers at international conferences and conduct classes for students in this language; good knowledge of Latin, certified by a degree in classical studies; knowledge of text-editing software (Classical Text Editor); experience in preparing critical editions of medieval texts, documented by publications; experience in preparing doctrinal studies on late medieval commentaries on Aristotle's writings.

The experiences will be taken under the consideration:

1. Related to obtaining money from external funds for scientific or popularizing activities.

2. Resulting from archival inquiries in the country and abroad.
