This position is funded by OPUS project (PI: Prof. Martin Reichard) on investigating how fine-scale variation in interspecific relationships affects the outcome of biological invasions across populations of interacting species. Using bitterling fish and an invasive mussel that serves as a host for bitterling eggs, the project uses field and experimental methods to test the importance of population-specific traits on the invasion success of non-native species. The candidate will replace the current postdoctoral researcher.
