Requirements for candidates are as follows:

1.       Have PhD degree in the humanities or social sciences;

2.       Demonstrate interests in in the field of social pedagogy ( interest in preventing social threats and criminality is welcome );

3.       Have firmly outlined research plans relating to issues within the scope of social pedagogy/social readaptation

4.       Speak English on communicative and higher levels;

5.       Committed to work fulltime at the University of Lodz as their first workplace;

6.       Fluent in writing and speaking Polish regarding the necessity of teaching in this language.

Additional advantages will include:

1.       A doctoral degree in the field of pedagogy,

2.       Scientific publications in the field of social pedagogy,

3.       Experience related to participation in research or educational projects, particularly international ones,

4.       Experience in collaborating with the social environment, particularly with organizations involved in social and resocialization work,

5.       Proficiency in a second foreign language.

6.       Information on professional achievements, possible publications and participation in scientific or methodological conferences; scientific and research interests;

7.       Commitment to take up employment at the University of Lodz as the primary place of work and full-time;

8.       Declarations as per Appendices 1 and 2 of the Child Protection Standards in force at the University of Lodz;
