Requirements-a PhD degree in Exact and Natural Sciences in the discipline of chemistry;-documented scientific achievements in the field of analytical chemistry and electrochemistry (scientific articles, monographs, participation in the scientific conferences) indicating the possibility of scientific development;-experience in teaching in the area of analytical chemistry and instrumental analysis (conducting laboratory classes for students, tutoring bachelors' and/or master’s thesis);-at least 4 years’ experience in scientific work in the area of voltamperometry, hydrodynamic electrochemistry and electrochemical capacitors;-teamwork experience;-the candidate should have the prove scientific articles track record in the field of electrochemistry. He/she should be the leading author in most of them;-active participation in the national and international scientific conferences with oral and/or posters communications; -he/she should have the international experience proven by the participation in internships and workshops abroad;-fluent level in English (at least at intermediate B2) and in Polish (for foreigners);-commitment, creativity and availability in research;-experience in the scientific projects execution; -The candidate should propose a defined research topic related to electrochemistry, that will be presented during the job interview (the topic as well as the plans related to acquiring grant proposals).An additional assets:-The candidate possesses organizational skills.-The candidate expresses a willingness for further development and gaining experience abroad.-The candidate has patents/patent applications in his/her portfolio.Persons joining the competition should submit an application for employment addressed to HM Rector of the University of Lodz, along with the attachments listed below:-a statement that the Candidate meets the requirements of art. 113 of the Act,-statement that the University of Lodz will be his primary workplace within the meaning of the above Act,-declaration of nepotism (available on the University of Lodz website https://www.uni.lodz.pl/kariera),-personal questionnaire,-CV,-a copy of the university diploma and doctoral degree,-list of previous achievements in scientific and research work,-documents confirming completed certificates (including language ones), in the absence of certificates, a statement regarding the level of knowledge of foreign languages (basic, intermediate, advanced),-information on the level of knowledge of the Polish language (in the case of foreigners).-Contact information to at least to academicians willing to provide the references.We reserve the right to conduct interviews with selected candidates.Final results will be announced on 12th of September 2023.
