Requirements for candidates are as follows:

-Have PhD degree in the humanities or social sciences;

-Demonstrate interests in methodology of social sciences; Publication addressing methodological issues (including an in-depth reflection on one's own research practice) will be an additional advantage;

-Have firmly outlined research plans relating to current problems of education;

-Experience in participating in research or educational projects would be an advantage;

-Speak English on communicative and higher levels; knowledge of a second language would be an advantage;

-Committed to work fulltime at the University of Lodz as their first workplace;

-Fluent in writing and speaking Polish regarding the necessity of teaching in this language.

Candidates entering for the competition should submit:

-Copy of the diploma for completed master's studies;

- Copy ofdoctoral’s degree diploma;

-Information on scientific, teaching, and organizational achievements, including a list of scientific publications;

- Commitment to undertake employment at the University of Łódź as the primary place of work and on a full-time basis;
