We are inviting applications form candidates who meet the following criteria:

• have at least a habilitation degree,
• representing the field of social sciences in the discipline of sociology,
• willingness to take up employment at the University of Łódź as the primary place of work,
• ability to write scientific texts in the field of sociology (documented by publications worth at least 140 - 200 points as an author or co-author according to the MEiN list over the last 3 years),
• fluent knowledge of Polish and English at a level sufficient to conduct classes,
• practical experience in the teaching process (theoretical and practical knowledge in the field of sociology is required),
• completion at least of two internships abroad.

Additional advantages will be:

• experience in organising scientific events,
• experience in implementing an international research programme or experience gained as a manager of at least two competitive scientific projects in the country,
• the candidate will be a recipient of scientific scholarships,
• Master's degree in philosophy or history,
• experience in conducting qualitative research with a particular focus on biographical research,
• experience in editorial work in peer-reviewed journals in the field of social sciences.
