Who are we looking for
The candidate must hold at least a PhD degree (or equivalent) in the Humanities, in the field of Linguistics, specializing in Slavic Linguistics.
The candidate is required to:

Demonstrate native-speaker proficiency or at least C2 level in Serbian.

Be proficient in Polish and at least one other Slavic language (verified by a university degree in Slavic Studies).

Have documented experience in higher education teaching and Serbian language instruction, enabling them to conduct practical language classes at all proficiency levels.

Conduct specialized courses related to the program profile (Slavic and comparative linguistics, with particular emphasis on Serbian).

Supervise and review diploma theses.

Conduct scientific research in descriptive and comparative Slavic linguistics and participate in the Department's organizational initiatives.

Provide a list of academic publications (monographs and articles) and completed research projects.
Legal Eligibility
The candidate must meet the non-criminal record requirement regarding offenses specified in Chapters XIX and XXV of the Polish Penal Code, in Art. 189a and Art. 207 of the Penal Code, and the Act of July 29, 2005, on Counteracting Drug Addiction, as well as equivalent prohibited acts defined under foreign law.

The selected candidate will be required to provide a current criminal record certificate from the National Criminal Register (KRS), issued no earlier than 6 months prior to the commencement of employment.
