Who are we looking for

We are looking for candidates:

- have at least a Master's degree in the areas of economics and/or spatial planning and/or management

- willing to declare further academic work in the social sciences in at least one of the disciplines listed:

  • economics and finance,
  • socio-economic geography and spatial management

- willing to take up employment at the University of Łódź as their primary place of work,

- knowing English at a level enabling communication,

- due to the direct cooperation of the department with universities in Turkey, knowledge of Turkish at a communicative level is preferred,

- a person undergoing doctoral studies, preferably with teaching experience, is welcome

- documented participation in scientific and didactic projects will be an additional asset.

- list of previous achievements,

- documents confirming the trainings, courses and certificates (including language certificates) held; if there are no certificates, a statement concerning the level of knowledge of foreign languages (basic, intermediate, advanced),

- optionally - opinion from the last place of work

Requirements description:

The candidate for the above position should meet the requirements of Article 113 and Article 116 of the Law on Higher Education and Science of 20 July 2018. (Journal of Laws of 2022, item 574 as amended) and the Statute of the University of Lodz.
