DESCRIPTION (subject area, expectations, remarks):

Requirements:

·          Master’s degree in Spanish Philology

·          Fluent command of spoken and written Spanish at an academic level

·          Documented scholarly and/or outreach activity (e.g., presentations at conferences and symposia, academic publications, research visits) as well as confirmed participation in methodological courses/trainings/workshops

·          Experience in teaching Spanish as a foreign language at the academic level

Additional qualifications (optional):

·          Knowledge of other languages, especially English and Polish

·          Ability to work in a team

Candidate’s responsibilities:

·          Research: Active participation in academic conferences and systematic publication of academic works in journals and publishing houses listed in the updated register of the Ministry of Education and Science (MEiN)

·          Teaching duties: Conducting classes in courses such as Descriptive Grammar of the Spanish Language and Linguistic Text Analysis at the undergraduate level, as well as Norms and Grammatical Usage and Advanced Spanish Grammar at the graduate level; and other courses in the Spanish Philology program

·          Organizational duties: Active involvement in organizational activities for the unit, department, and faculty

·          The candidate must meet the condition of no criminal record for the crimes specified in Chapter XIX and XXV of the Penal Code, in Article 189a and Article 207 of the Penal Code and in the Act of 29 July 2005 on Counteracting Drug Addiction (Journal of Laws of 2023, item 1939) and for the prohibited acts specified in foreign law corresponding to these crimes.
