Applicants will be expectedto meetthe following essential criteria:

• -doctoral degree in Linguistics;
• -academic achievements in the field of Spanish Linguistics, Applied Linguistics (with particular emphasis on Translation Studies) and Comparative Linguistics (publications, participation in international scientific conferences);
• -experience in collaborating with prestigious European universities (traineeships, scholarships and grants);
• -experience in teaching Spanish as a foreign language;
• -teaching experience at the university level in Translation Theory;
• -teaching experience at the university level in Spanish Linguistics;
• -Portuguese language proficiency of C1 level or higher.

Persons entering the competition must submit an application for employment addressed to the HM Rector of the University of Lodz, together with the following attachments:

-personal questionnaire,
-CV;
-copy of diploma of higher education / copy of the doctoral diploma;
-statement that the University of Lodz will be the main place of work
-full list of scientific achievements (publications, translations, active participation in academic conferences, traineeships, research projects, etc.).
