DESCRIPTION (field, expectations, comments):
The candidate should meet the following criteria:
- hold a PhD degree in the field of the humanities (Linguistics) as well as Master’s degree in English Philology
- demonstrate experience in conducting research into Business English and corporate culture
- provide a list of scholarly publications in international journals / publishing houses and/or included in the official lists of the Polish Ministry of Education and Science
- provide a list of papers given at national and international conferences, seminars and workshops
- have experience in teaching courses for university students;
Moreover, the candidate is expected to be familiar with the field of teaching Business English, enabling them to teach practical classes in this language at different levels, as well as to teach other courses related to the profile of the programmes run by the Department (particularly related to corporate culture). The candidate is also expected to participate in scholarly and organizational activities of the Department.
