DESCRIPTION (field, expectations, comments):
The candidate should meet the following criteria:
- hold a PhD degree in cultural studies, media studies or similar discipline
- specialize in: cultural studies, new media studies, new media art, new media culture, cyberculture, network studies; combining these specialities will be an asset
- have a strong record of academic publications and conference presentations as well as teaching experience,
- be fluent in Polish and proficient in English.

Persons entering the competition must submit an application for employment addressed to HM Rector of the University of Łódź, Prof. dr hab. Elżbieta Żądzińska, together with the following attachments:
- personal questionnaire,
- CV including a full list of scientific achievements (publications, conference papers, scientific grants, etc.)
- certified copy of PhD diploma,
- statement that the University of Lodz will be the main place of work.
