DESCRIPTION (subject, expectations, comments):
The candidate should have:
Requirements:
1. Master’s degree in Italian Philology;
2. experience in teaching Italian at the academic level;
3. experience in teaching Italian culture at the academic level;
4. experience in creating and developing teaching materials for the study of Italian as a Foreign Language;
5. good knowledge of modern teaching methods with the use of new technologies;
6. fluency in Italian and Polish and advanced knowledge of at least one classical language.
Duties of the Candidate :
1. In terms of research work – active participation in scientific conferences, regular publishing of monographs and scientific articles in scientific journals and publishers listed by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education,
2. in terms of teaching – conducting classes on practical learning of the Italian language, translation, Italian for special purposes, and Italian artistic culture, coordinating classes, providing guidance to selected groups of students,
3. in terms of organizational work – active involvement in organizational activities for the department, institute and faculty.
Additional advantages include:
– Master’s degree in Classical philology
– experience in editorial work (scientific and other publications)
– experience in organizing conferences and other scientific events
– experience in applying for research grants
– experience in creating materials for learning a foreign language, especially Italian
– experience in teaching translation
