DESCRIPTION (subject, expectations, comments): the competition may be entered by persons who meet the conditions specified in Art. 113 of the Act of July 20, 2018 — Law on Higher Education and Science (consolidated text, Journal of Laws of 2020, item 85)
The candidate should have:
− documented academic record;
− experience in academic teaching;
− proficiency in English at a level enabling the use of English-language scientific literature in the field of humanities;
− full capacity to perform legal acts and exercise public rights.
Requirements:
− doctoral degree in humanities in the discipline of linguistics;
− academic record (doctoral dissertation, scientific publications, participation in conferences) in the field of Polish linguistics, with particular emphasis on contemporary Polish and media linguistics;
− experience in academic teaching (a minimum of three years of experience as an academic teacher of linguistics subjects, with particular emphasis on Polish linguistics, contemporary Polish and linguistic communication in new media);
− completed first and second degree studies in Polish philology;
− completed editorial specialization or postgraduate studies in editing;
− operation of InDesign software.
Duties of the Candidate:
− in the field of research — active participation in scientific conferences and systematic publication of author's monographs and scientific articles in publications and scientific journals included in the updated list of scientific journals and publications of the MEiN;
− in the field of teaching — teaching linguistic didactic subjects (including knowledge of contemporary Polish, culture of the Polish language, axiolinguistics, linguistics of discourse and public communication and Internet communication);
− in the field of organizational work — active participation in the organizational activities of the university, the institute and the department.
Additional advantages:
− experience in organizing scientific conferences and events popularizing the Polish language culture and knowledge of linguistic communication in the public sphere;
− research interests in the contemporary Polish language, in particular in the field of linguistic communication in the new media;
− experience in editorial work (editing and typesetting of scientific publications);
− experience in media work (editing and publication of journalistic texts in the media).
