DESCRIPTION (subject, expectations, comments):
The candidate should have:
- Master of Arts degree in Spanish Philology
- Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in the discipline of Linguistics.
Requirements:
The candidate should:
- demonstrate a broad knowledge of Spanish and general linguistics,
- have research experience in phraseology and paremiology;
- have research experience and a proven academic record in Spanish linguistics (doctoral dissertation, publications, participation in international scientific conferences);
- have research experience in Spanish-language linguistics and Spanish culture and civilisation;
- be fluent in Polish, Spanish, and English;
- have research experience in Basque culture and language;
- have a Basque language certificate at min. B2 level;
- have teaching experience concerning the teaching of Spanish as a foreign language.
Duties of the Candidate:
1. in the scope of research - active participation in scientific conferences and systematic publication of author's monographs and scientific articles in publishing houses and scientific journals included in the updated list of scientific journals and publishing houses of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education;
2. in the scope of teaching - the candidate will be expected to teach classes in linguistics and other courses offered by the Sub-department of Spanish and General Linguistics and the Department of Spanish Philology;
3. in the scope of organizational work - active involvement in organizational activities for the sub-department, department and faculty.
