Requirements:

The candidates should meet the following criteria:

-Master’s degree;

-research interests in the field of public management;

-at least two publications (articles, monograph chapters or monographs) in the field of public management; the publications are to be included in the current list of journals (for articles) and publishing houses (for monograph chapters or monographs) published by the Minister for Science and Higher Education;

-documented experience of teaching academic courses on chosen aspects of public management as well as on foundations of management / introduction to management;

-active participation (with presentations) during at least two scientific conferences, including at least one international conference;

  • -fluent command of the English language in speaking and writing, indispensable for teaching academic courses, preparing academic texts, and delivering presentations at academic conferences;
  • -fluent command of the Polish language in speaking and writing, indispensable for teaching academic courses, preparing academic texts, and delivering presentations at academic conferences (for non-Polish citizens);

The following will be considered as additional strengths:

  • -Master’s degree obtained following a study programme in the field of public management or management;
  • -publications in the field of public management in English;
  • -experience of teaching academic courses in English;
  • -prior involvements in academic life, specifically: student scientific associations, student self-government, organisation of scientific conferences and congresses (in particular international ones);

The Candidate should submit:

  • an application for employment addressed to the Rector of University of Lodz, with the attachments listed below:
-the personal questionnaire and all required statements (available on the University of Lodz website <a href="https://www.uni.lodz.pl/kariera">https://www.uni.lodz.pl/kariera</a>), including a statement indicating that the University of Lodz shall be the candidate’s primary employer;

-a CV with an indication of prior scientific and teaching achievements and experience;

-a copy of a diploma confirming attainment of a Master’s degree;

-a declaration of representing the discipline of management and quality science

  • -documents certifying the requirements mentioned in the notice (publications, teaching experience, conference participation, other diplomas and certificates);
  • -statement on the English language competence (in case no English language certificate is provided);
  • -certificate confirming Polish language competence (non-Polish candidates),
  • -the GDPR clause (available on the University of Lodz website https://www.uni.lodz.pl/kariera).

We may interview selected candidates.

Positive assessment of the candidate does not guarantee employment at the University of Lodz.

The University of Lodz does not reimburse travel and accommodation costs.

8.Providing personal data is voluntary, but failing to provide them will prevent the employment contract from being concluded.
