DESCRIPTION (subject, expectations, comments):

The candidate should have:

Requirements:

1. PhD degree in literature;

2. Master’s degree in French Philology;

3. experience in teaching French and Spanish as a Foreign Language;

4. experience in teaching French and Spanish at the academic level;

5. experience in teaching French literature at the academic level;

6. good knowledge of modern teaching methods;

7. ability to work as part of a team and be dutiful.

Duties of the Candidate:

1. In terms of research work – active participation in scientific conferences, regular publishing of monographs and scientific articles in scientific journals and publishers listed by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education,

2. in terms of teaching – conducting classes on practical learning of the French and Spanish language and the ancient romance literatures, particularly 16th and 17th century French literature and the history of French literature, teaching an undergraduate literature seminar, coordinating classes, providing guidance to selected groups of students,

3. in terms of organizational work – active involvement in organizational activities for the department, institute and faculty.

4. The candidate must meet the condition of no criminal record for the crimes specified in Chapter XIX and XXV of the Penal Code, in Article 189a and Article 207 of the Penal Code and in the Act of 29 July 2005 on Counteracting Drug Addiction (Journal of Laws of 2023, item 1939) and for the prohibited acts specified in foreign law corresponding to these crimes.

Additional advantages include:

– experience in editorial work (publishing journals and / or scientific monographs);

– experience in organizing conferences and other scientific events;

– experience in creating materials for learning a foreign language, especially French;

– experience in teaching at the academic level;

– experience in working with source texts written in moyen français;

– experience in working with texts written in Latin, Italian and Spanish;

– experience in conducting comparative research between ancient Italian and French literature.
