DESCRIPTION (subject, expectations, comments):

The Candidates for the position of an assistant in the Department Ethics should meet the following criteria:

1. Desirable PhD in philosophy

2. Scientific achievements in the field of practical philosophy: ethics, bioethics and social philosophy, evidenced in publications in scientific journals. Participation in a research grant on bioethics, at least in the position of contractor attesting to experience in the development of issues concerning contemporary bioethical problems. Participation in national and international scientific conferences.

3. Due to the research profile of the Department, candidates are sought who specialize in practical philosophy and its history, so that the candidate could conduct didactic classes on topics related to ethics (including bioethics), social philosophy as well as practical philosophy in the broadest sense.

4. It is desirable that she/he possesses: free command of spoken and written English so that the future assistant professor can publish her/his articles in English-language scientific magazines, present papers at international conferences and conduct classes for students in this language.

5. It is desirable for the candidate to have teaching experience in ethics and social philosophy.

6. In addition, the ability to organize scientific and science promotion events is desirable, including participation in the organization of national and international scientific conferences.

The experiences will be taken under the consideration:

1. related to the organization of the work of groups implementing projects in the humanities or popularizing the humanities,

2. gained from the working in occupational groups,

3. resulting from research in the social sciences.
