DESCRIPTION (subject, expectations, comments):

The candidate for the above-mentioned position should meet the requirements of Articles 113, 116 of the Act of 20 July 2018. Law on higher education and science (Journal of Laws of 2022, item 574).

The Candidates for the position of an assistant in the Department of Medieval History should meet the following criteria:

1. A master's degree in history is required

2. Due to the research profile of the Department, we are looking for a candidate specializing in medieval and early modern history, so that he can conduct research and teach in the field of medieval history and military history.

3. Scientific achievements in the field of medieval military history, confirmed by scientific publications; participation in national and international scientific conferences.

4. The candidate should be able to speak English. They should be prepared to publish articles in English-language scientific journals, present papers at international conferences and conduct classes for students in this language. The candidate is also required to know at least one East Slavic language.

5. The candidate should be familiar with medieval paleography..

6. The candidate should have teaching experience in teaching medieval and military history. Due to the possibility of conducting classes in the field of military science, the candidate's advantage will be a good orientation in broadly understood military issues.
