The integrative approach will incorporate transcriptome sequencing and phylogenomics, functional morphology analysis and assessment of diet preferences using DNA metabarcoding.
Postdoc main tasks will focus on:
1. Morphological identification of Amphipoda
2. Material segregation and management (including databases)
3. Morphological analysis of Amphipoda (including SEM/confocal microscopy, data analysis in R)
4. Dissecting of Amphipods
5. Isolation and amplification of DNA
6. Preparation of publications and conference presentations
7. General support in various tasks related to project
The candidate should meet the following criteria and have:
1. Doctoral degree in Biology or related (valid in Poland)
2. Substantial experience in working with Amphipoda morphology, supported with publications
