DESCRIPTION :
Candidates for the above position should meet the requirements of Article 113 of the Act of 20 July 2018 Law on Higher Education and Science (Journal of Laws of 2024, item 1571, consolidated text, as amended).
REQUIREMENTS:
1. PhD degree in Social Sciences in the field of management and quality sciences.
2. Experience: participation in and implementation of at least two national and/or international projects focusing on the optimization of production and logistics processes in the energy sector and technological project management, as well as research and development work on renewable energy technologies.
3. At least two publications or expert opinions in the field of biomass logistics and the application of artificial intelligence in the energy sector.
4. Teaching experience: teaching classes in "Production Logistics," "Ecologistics," and/or "Renewable Energy Sources."
5. Proficiency in English confirmed by publications in that language, and proficiency in Polish in the case of foreign nationals.
6. Experience in preparing project or application documentation in national and international programs (e.g., NCBiR, Horizon Europe).
ADDITIONAL ADVANTAGES:
- At least 2 years of experience working with a company implementing projects implementing innovative renewable energy technologies in domestic and international markets, including technical and economic analyses, expert consulting, or participation in research and development projects.
- 2. At least 5 years of experience working with companies in the entrepreneurial sector and business environment institutions, particularly in supporting knowledge transfer, commercializing research results, developing innovation strategies, and implementing joint R&D projects at the interface between science and industry.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Teaching responsibilities include:
• conducting teaching classes conducted under an employment contract on an annual basis, as determined by the Senate, for full-time, part-time, and postgraduate studies, including teaching using distance learning methods and techniques,
• participation in developing and updating study programs and teaching schedules,
• conducting examinations and final assessments, including diploma examinations,
• conducting and reviewing diploma theses,
• developing teaching materials for classes,
• conducting consultations with students for at least two hours per week,
• ensuring high quality of education and compliance of teaching with the principles of the internal education quality assurance system, improving one's professional qualifications,
Research responsibilities include:
• conducting and participating in scientific research and development work,
• obtaining funding for scientific research through applying for competitions,
• disseminating research or development results through publishing the results,
• active participation in scientific conferences and seminars financed as part of the tasks carried out by the unit or under other principles adopted by the University,
• participating in the commercialization of research results (patents, protection rights, implementations),
• educating scientific staff and supervising their development,
• improving one's professional qualifications, including for the purpose of obtaining further academic degrees and titles.
Organizational responsibilities include:
• active participation in selected collegial bodies and committees at the faculty and university,
• organizing and participating in promotional and presentation activities for the University,
• organizing conferences, symposia, seminars, and other academic activities,
• performing functions assigned by superiors, including: acting as a year or student group supervisor, supervising research clubs and camps, and supervising student internships.
