Description:

The candidate for the above-mentioned position should meet the requirements of Articles 113, 116 of the Act of 20 July 2018. Law on higher education and science (Journal of Laws of 2022, item 574).

An applicant should meet the following criteria:

• hold a Ph.D. (as minimum) in political studies or international relations or law;
• represent the field of social sciences in one of the following disciplines: political and administrative sciences, international relations, law;
• demonstrate readiness to take up employment at the University of Lodz as the primary place of work;
• have the necessary abilities to carry out scientific research and academic education (general interest and research achievements in the area of theory of international relations, regional conflicts and foreign policy in the Region of Central and Eastern Europe, i.e. fitting the scientific profile of KTiHSM);
• have experience in conducting field research;
• have experience in organizing scientific conferences, including international ones;
• demonstrate high scientific activity expressed in scored publications and participation in national and international conferences;
• have a high level of Polish and English proficiency sufficient for teaching and scientific communication in this languages (non-Polish citizens should present a certificate confirming the Polish language efficiency);
• have experience in teaching at the academic level in Polish and English;
• have the ability to work in a team;

The additional criterias that may be considered are as following:

• research activities in the field of International Organizations and non-state actors in International Relations;
• complete the internship at a foreign research center;
• wrriten and spoken abilities in the Russian language;
• experience in the organisational activities at the academic level.
