DESCRIPTION (subject matter, expectations, comments):

The candidate should meet the following criteria:

-hold a PhD degree in the discipline of legal science of a Polish university;

-specialise and have academic achievements in substantive and procedural tax law - it will be preferable to combine these departments;

-have research experience in the field of tax law confirmed by publications in listed scientific journals and active participation in domestic and international scientific conferences and/or seminars;

-have research experience resulting from active participation in international research projects in the field of tax law and confirmed by scientific publications and active participation in international scientific conferences and/or seminars;

-have experience in teaching tax law at university level;

-actively participate in scientific life – including knowledge of the scientific community of tax law;

-have the ability to work in a team environment, including experience in organizing domestic and international scientific conferences, seminars and other scientific events;

-have professional experience in the field of tax law application (minimum 3 years) - a license to practice as a tax advisor is welcome;

-be fluent in spoken and written Polish;

-know the English language at the level necessary to conduct research and deliver classes in the field of tax law;

-fulfil the requirements for employment as anAssistant Professor in the research and teaching group required under University of Lodz Rector’s Regulation No. 58 of 20 December 2019 concerningdetailed criteria for the evaluation of scientific and didactic achievements required for the employment of academic teachers as university professors and as an assistant professors.
