DESCRIPTION :
Recruitment to the Cytometry Lab, Department of Oncobiology and Epigenetics at the University of Lodz as an Assistant Professor in the research staff group. The position involves research in toxicology and cell biology using flow cytometry, as well as active participation in the acquisition and implementation of scientific projects.
REQUIREMENTS:
The candidate should meet the following criteria and have:
- PhD in Biology or related disciplines, recognized in Poland;
- fluency in Polish, both spoken and written and at least good conversance in English (both spoken and written);
- a very good publication record - a minimum of 5 articles published in leading JCR journals with 100-200 Ministry of Education and Science points is required.
- proficiency in planning and applying animal cell culture;
- experience in laboratory techniques related to protein analysis;
- experience in planning, conducting and analyzing flow cytometry experiments confirmed by publication record.
ADDITIONAL ADVANTAGES:
Experience of working in scientific projects. A solid approach to the tasks assigned and ability to work in a team.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The candidate for the position will fulfill duties in accordance with the strategy of the University and the Department.
The candidate will conduct and participate in scientific research and development work:
- planning and performing experiments, analysis of data, preparing manuscripts, dissemination of the results in the most prestigious scientific journals from the Journal Citation Reports list,
- conducting and participating in scientific research and development work,
- obtaining funds for scientific research by applying in competitions,
- implementation of international mobility for research purposes,
- organizing promotional and presentation actions for the benefit of the University and participation in them.
