The candidate for the above-mentioned position should meet the requirements of Articles 113, 116 of the Act of 20 July 2018. Law on higher education and science (Journal of Laws of 2024, item 1571 ).

Requirements:

The Candidate should meet the following criteria:

• PhD degree in management sciences (the diploma must be recognized in Poland);
  
• Research interests in the field of value management, risk management, planning and forecasting, data analysis confirmed by scientific achievements in this field - at least 4 published articles  (authorship/co-authorship of scientific articles in journals included in the list of scientific journals and peer-reviewed materials from international conferences) as well as authorship/co-authorship of book chapters or monographs (published by academic publishers classified at Level I on the list of publishers of peer-reviewed academic monographs) published within the last 4 years;
• Experience in conducting classes in the field of business management;
  
• Experience in delivering conference presentations;
  
• Experience in designing and conducting scientific research in the field of management;
  
• Due to teaching and academic writing requirements, the candidate must be fluent in English;
  
• Foreign candidates must be fluent in both spoken and written Polish.

Additional assets include:

• Practical experience in using risk management, data analysis, planning and forecasting tools;
  
• Experience in conducting international research projects;
  
• Authorship or co-authorship of monographs, book chapters, or editorship of monographs published by academic publishers classified as Level II (within the last 4 years);
  
• Experience in editorial work on academic publications;
  
• Experience in promoting science and organizing science-related public events.

Assistant Professor – Scope of Duties

General scope of duties for the held position:

• Conducting teaching activities as part of employment, in an annual scope defined by the Senate;
• Performing additional duties related to teaching activities, including: 

- Preparing documentation required of academic teachers, including study process documentation,

- Administering exams and assessments,

- Developing teaching materials for conducted classes,

- Holding consultations with students,

- Improving one's professional qualifications in the scope of conducted teaching activities.

• Acquiring funding for scientific research through participation in grant competitions; 
• Enhancing one’s professional qualifications;
