The applicant for the aforementioned position shall meet the requirements of Art. 113 and Art. 116 of the Law on Higher Education and Science dated 20 July 2018 (Journal of Laws of 2022, item 574 with amendments) and the Statute of the University of Lodz.

The applicant must meet the condition of not having a criminal record with respect to the offenses specified in Chapters XIX and XXV of the Penal Code, in Art. 189a and 207 of the Penal Code, and in the Act of July 29, 2005 on Counteracting Drug Addiction (Journal of Laws of 2023, item 1939), as well as the corresponding offenses specified in foreign laws.

 

We are inviting applications form candidates who meet the following criteria:

• a PhD in Economics,
• willingness to represent the social sciences, specifically the disciplines of economics and finance, in the evaluation of academic disciplines,
• willingness to take up employment at the University of Łódź as their primary place of work,
• research interests relating to the circular economy and the development of the triple helix, evidenced by participation in at least four international projects,
• a research record including at least one academic publication worth more than 100 points according to the official list of journals, proceedings from international conferences and monographs published by the Ministry of Education and Science (MEiN),
• Experience in international cooperation – evidenced by at least one international internship abroad (undertaken outside the country of employment and education) lasting a minimum of two weeks,
• Fluency in Polish and English (spoken and written),
• Knowledge of German and French would be an additional advantage.

Indicative scope of duties:

• implementation of the grant “DE&RE Manufacturing for Circular Economy Investments in the Composite Industry: CAPacity Building for Interregional Innovation Ecosystems”,
• publication of results of research or development work,
• active participation in scientific conferences and seminars funded under projects carried out by the organisational unit or in accordance with other regulations adopted at the UL.
