The applicant for the aforementioned position shall meet the requirements of Art. 113 and Art. 116 of the Law on Higher Education and Science dated 20 July 2018 (Journal of Laws of 2024, item 1571 with amendments) and the Statute of the University of Lodz.

The applicant must meet the condition of not having a criminal record with respect to the offenses specified in Chapters XIX and XXV of the Penal Code, in Art. 189a and 207 of the Penal Code, and in the Act of July 29, 2005 on Counteracting Drug Addiction (Journal of Laws of 2023, item 1939), as well as the corresponding offenses specified in foreign laws.

 We are inviting applications from candidates who meet the following criteria:

-           Hold a Master's degree in a field related to finance and accounting,

-           Hold a doctoral degree (PhD),

-           Represent the field of social sciences,

-           Demonstrate research interests in the area of corporate finance and accounting,

-           Have the ability to conduct research and write scientific papers (as evidenced by at least five academic publications) in the field of corporate finance and accounting ,

-           Show readiness to take up employment at the University of Lodz (UŁ) as their primary place of work,

-           Be fluent in Polish and have an English language proficiency level that enables them to conduct classes,

-           Have practical experience in the teaching process (theoretical and practical knowledge in the area of finance and accounting is required),

-           Have experience presenting research findings at scientific conferences,

-           Have professional experience in business,

-           Be able to work in a team and be open to collaboration.

It will be an added advantage if the candidate :

- has experience in international relations,

- has received honors and award.
