DESCRIPTION (subject, expectations, comments):

The candidate should meet the following criteria and have:

- a D. Sc. degree in sciences and natural sciences, in the discipline of biological sciences, earth and environmental sciences or related disciplines (recognised in Poland);

- experience of carrying out research nationally and internationally on the application of phytoremediation techniques to improve environmental quality;

- ability to use methods for the detection of contaminants in the environment (e.g. chromatographic analysis, immunoenzymatic analysis, molecular analysis, ecotoxicological analysis);

- ability to analyze data using mathematical and statistical tools;

- fluency in Polish and English at an advanced level necessary for conversations and preparation of scientific publications;

- 1000 pts. MEiN from JCR publications ≥ 100 pts. or patents;

- experience in leading or carrying out as a manager or executor of research projects financed from external sources;

- experience in academic teaching;

- international mobility (scholarships or implementation of research/projects abroad);

- driving licence cat B;

- computer literacy in the field of: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Statistica.

The candidate will be expected to be independent in the execution of his/her tasks, creative, highly motivated, well organised in time, and able to work in a team.
