Who are we looking for
We are offering employment to three foreign language teachers.
The applicant should :
· have a higher education in Philology
· have command of functional Polish language grammar
· have knowledge of goals, content and curriculum of each language fluency level (A1-C2) and Polish language certification system
· have knowledge of didactic materials available throughout the publishing market and using it during teaching time in groups at different levels
· have professional experience in teaching Polish language as a foreign language min. 600 academic hours.
· availability - readiness to work from Monday to Friday between 8.00 - 18.30 both in faculty building and online,
· computer literacy (MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook, MS Excel),
· experience in LDL and/or knowledge of MS Teams, Zoom, Clickmeeting, etc,
· declaration of non-competition towards the University of Łódź.
Core teaching and organisational duties :
· teaching classes conducted under an employment contract on an annual basis, as determined by the Senate, in full-time, part-time, and postgraduate studies, including teaching by means of online, learning methods and techniques;
· timely preparation of study documentation for academic teachers;
· participation in the development and updating study programs and class schedules;
· conducting examinations and assessments;
· developing teaching materials for classes;
· providing consultation to students for at least two hours per week;
· improving professional qualifications in the teaching activities;
· ensuring high quality of education and compliance of teaching with the principles of the internal quality assurance system;
· working on the University's collegial bodies;
· serving on admission and examination committees during the admission process;
· organizing and participating in promotional and presentation activities for the University;
· organizing conferences, symposia, seminars, and other academic activities;
· other teaching and organizational duties assigned by the superior.
The candidate must have a Master’s Degree Diploma in Polish language Philology or in Neophilology.
Due to the necessity of teaching Polish language to foreigners, the candidate should supply documentary evidence in teaching Polish language as a foreign language minimum 600 academic hours.
The candidate should be creative, conscientious and responsible.
Additional assets are: scientific or didactic achievements (for example: scholar publicatioms, textbooks, syllabuses, participation in scientific conferences) as well as developed intercultural competence.

- attachments no 1 and 2 to the full version of Protection Standards for Minors as required by the University of Lodz.
