The candidate should have

The candidate should have an MA degree in English Studies and be a native speaker of English. The candidate should have a considerable (and documented) experience in teaching Practical English courses with a particular specialization in courses taught within the programme of English Studies. Additionally, the candidate should possess a substantial record of conducting composition classes in English, as well as skills and experience in editing academic texts for publication. It would be expected that the candidate can also run courses within a broader field of current political and cultural affairs, using press and social media for teaching materials.

Duties of the Candidate

The candidate will be expected to:

• conduct courses within the Practical English module in the English Studies programme, writing and composition courses and classes in current affairs,

• actively engage in all organisational projects and assignments in the Institute of English Studies and the Faculty of Philology,

• take editorial and proof-reading assignments both in the Institute of English Studies and the Faculty of Philology.
