Description:

The applicant should meet the following criteria:

- have a master’s or doctoral degree in history;

- have a scientific knowledge of post-1945 Polish history with particular reference to the history and achievements of the Literary Institute in Paris;

- have documented experience in scientific work confirmed by publications and active participation in international conferences;

- have experience in editing historical sources;

- have experience in popularizing science;

- knows at least one foreign language (English, French, Russian, Ukrainian);

- have experience in organisational work.

Duties of the Candidate:

- research into the history and achievements of the Literary Institute in Paris;

- systematic publication of author’s monographs and scientific articles in publishing houses and scientific journals included in the updated list of scientific journals and publications of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education;

- active participation in scientific conferences;

- promoting knowledge of the history and achievements of the Literary Institute in Paris;

- active involvement in organizational activities for Jerzy Giedroyc Centre.

- copy of diploma of higher education;

- a full list of scientific achievements (publications, participation in scientific conferences, grants);

- other documents useful for the recruitment process (certificates, qualifications, awards);

- a statement that the University of Lodz will be the main place of work in the meaning of the above mentioned Act;

University of Lodz will not cover costs of accommodation and transportation.
