DESCRIPTION (field, expectations, comments):

The candidate for the above position should be characterized by an impeccable ethical attitude and should meet the requirements of Article 113 and Article 116 of the Law on Higher Education and Science of July 20, 2018. (Journal of Laws of 2023, item 742 as amended) and the Statute of the University of Lodz.

Candidates should meet the following criteria:

• have a master degree in geography or a related field of Earth and environmental sciences

• experience in teaching at a university

• didactic and popularizing achievements and competences, confirmed, for example, by participation in events promoting science, positive opinions of students about conducting classes, etc.

• specialization documented by publications, conference materials and the implementation of research projects, combined with experience in field and laboratory research and knowledge in the use of physico-geographic and paleoecological methods

• ability to work in an interdisciplinary research team,

• knowledge of the English language to the extent necessary to conduct scientific research.
