Who are we looking for
The candidate should have:
- the academic degree of doctor of humanities in the discipline of linguistics obtained no earlier than three years ago;
- completed first and second degree studies in Polish philology;
- completed specialist studies granting the qualifications to work as a speech therapist and speech therapy teacher;
- musical education at a minimum of the secondary music school level;
- academic teaching experience in conducting courses in linguistics and speech therapy;
- academic achievements (doctoral dissertation, publications in peer-reviewed journals and multi-author volumes, participation in academic conferences) in the field of linguistics;
- experience in applying for research project funding through national or international competitive grant schemes, or participation in research teams carrying out projects financed through such competitions.
Required on-site presence at work from Monday to Friday.
Additional advantages include:
- completed specialization in glottodidactics;
- experience in organizing academic conferences and events promoting the Polish language and culture;
- ability to lead/manage a group of people;
- knowledge of English at a minimum of B2 level.
Responsibilities of the Candidate:
- The candidate must meet the requirement of having no criminal record in respect of offences specified in Chapters XIX and XXV of the Polish Penal Code, in Articles 189a and 207 of the Polish Penal Code, in the Act of 29 July 2005 on counteracting drug addiction (Dz.U. 2023 poz. 1939), as well as in equivalent acts defined under foreign regulations and laws.

- The candidate selected for employment is required to submit, before starting the employment, a certificate of no criminal record from the National Court Register, issued no earlier than 6 months prior to its submission to the employer.
The University of Lodz does not cover travel or accommodation costs.
