Who are we looking for


Description: 

A candidate for this position should meet the requirements of art. 113 of the Act of 20 July 2018 Law on Higher Education (Journal of Laws of 2024, item 1571, as amended)

 

Requirements 

  • MSc in chemistry 

  • Documented scientific achievements in the field of organic chemistry (scientific articles) 

  • Experience in teaching chemistry at the academic level 

  • Experience in obtaining research funding as principal investigator 

  • Documented participation in the international scientific conferences 

  • Fluency in Polish and English, both spoken and written, sufficient for teaching chemistry students, preparing original publications, and delivering presentations at scientific meetings 


 

Job responsibilities 

  • Conducting scientific research and publishing results in reputable international journals 

  • Applying for external research funding 

  • Active involvement in organizational activities for the department and faculty levels 

  • Teaching academic-level courses in chemistry

The candidate must meet the condition of no criminal record for the crimes specified in Chapter XIX and XXV of the Penal Code, in Article 189a and Article 207 of the Penal Code and in the Act of 29 July 2005 on Counteracting Drug Addiction (Journal of Laws of 2023, item 1939) and for the prohibited acts specified in foreign law corresponding to these crimes.
