DESCRIPTION (subject area, expectations, remarks):

Requirements:

·          Master’s degree in Spanish Philology

·          Native speaker of Polish language

·          Fluent command of Spanish and English (spoken and written) at C2 level

·          Extensive knowledge of Spanish-language linguistics and the culture and civilization of Spain

·          Experience in teaching Spanish as a foreign language at the academic level

·          Professional and teaching experience in written and oral translation to and from Spanish

Additional qualifications (optional):

·          Education in sworn and community interpreting

·          Education in Spanish Law

Candidate’s responsibilities:

·          Teaching duties: conducting courses in practical Spanish language, translation to and from Spanish, coordinating Spanish language courses (PNJH), mentoring designated student cohorts

·          Organizational duties: actively participating in organizational activities of the unit, department, and faculty

·          The candidate must meet the condition of no criminal record for the crimes specified in Chapter XIX and XXV of the Penal Code, in Article 189a and Article 207 of the Penal Code and in the Act of 29 July 2005 on Counteracting Drug Addiction (Journal of Laws of 2023, item 1939) and for the prohibited acts specified in foreign law corresponding to these crimes.

·          Annex 2 to the Standards for the Protection of Minors at the UL Declaration of no criminal record and commitment to observe the UL Standards for the Protection of Minors*
