The applicant for the aforementioned position shall meet the requirements of Art. 113 and Art. 116 of the Law on Higher Education and Science dated 20 July 2018 (Journal of Laws of 2022, item 574 with amendments) and the Statute of the University of Lodz.

The candidate for the position should be a graduate in sociology at the master's level, have psychological knowledge that enables him/her to teach microsociology (preferably a degree in psychology) as well as knowledge of economics and management, which in turn makes it possible to teach sociology of human resource management. A very good knowledge of Polish and English is essential, due to the fact that classes are taught in this language.

We are inviting applications form candidates who meet the following criteria:

- completed master’s degree studies in the field of sociology and a degree in psychology and/or economics are highly desirable;

- represent the field of social sciences in the discipline of sociology;

- be ready to take up employment in the University of Lodz as the basic place of work;

- willingness to teach students;

- skills to work in a team;

- experience in research work and willingness to conduct empirical research;

- knowledge of qualitative and quantitative research methods;

- motivation to publish scientific works (articles and monographs).

The candidate will have the opportunity to write a doctoral dissertation while employed at the University of Lodz.
