The applicant for the aforementioned position shall meet the requirements of Art. 113 and Art. 116 of the Law on Higher Education and Science dated 20 July 2018 (Journal of Laws of 2022, item 574 with amendments) and the Statute of the University of Lodz.

The applicant must meet the condition of not having a criminal record with respect to the offenses specified in Chapters XIX and XXV of the Penal Code, in Art. 189a and 207 of the Penal Code, and in the Act of July 29, 2005 on Counteracting Drug Addiction (Journal of Laws of 2023, item 1939), as well as the corresponding offenses specified in foreign laws.

  We are inviting applications form candidates who meet the following criteria:

• completed master’s degree studies in the field and have a doctoral degree in sociology,
• representing the field of social sciences in the discipline of sociology,
• willingness to take up employment at the University of Łódź as the primary place of work,
• ability to write scientific texts in the field of sociology (documented by publications worth at least 70 points as an author or co-author according to the MEiN list over the last 3 years),
• fluent knowledge of Polish and English at a level sufficient to conduct classes,
• practical experience in the teaching process (prepared and qualified to teach: qualitative research methods, qualitative analysis methods, phenomenological research methods, contemplative research methods).
